P2P Schedule Query Window


The Schedule Query window is used for querying the different vessel/voyage connections from a load port to a particular discharge port after or before a particular date. It shows the system-suggested vessel/voyage/line, its expected time of departure from the load port and expected time of arrival at the discharge port, the number of days in transit along with the load port and discharge port for all the different vessel/voyage connections. Furthermore, the window provides you with the facility to store up to five different queried results.

 

Based on the user's role type, some features and functionality of this window differs. For a guest user, the Previous Searches option is not available.

 

The P2P Schedule window comprises of the following group boxes:

Opening the P2P Schedule window

Click Schedules>Interactive > Interactive Schedule. The P2P Schedule window is displayed.

To turn the Previous Searches section on or off, click .

Select

Select the required radio button to copy search details in the New Search section.

Origin

Origin area, that is, the area from where cargo originates.

Destination

Destination area, that is, the area towards which cargo is destined.

Click this hyperlink to display P2P Schedule Query Results window for viewing the vessel schedules for the next two weeks.

To turn the New Search section on or off, click .

Origin

Enter at least first 2 characters in the field and click Find next to it. List of all names starting with the entered characters are displayed in the box below this field.

Even if you enter the full name manually, you need to click Find located next to the text box to store the code in the system.

Destination

Enter at least first 2 characters in the field and click Find next to it. List of all names starting with the entered characters are displayed in the box below this field.

Date Filters (ETD or ETA)

Enter dates in ETD and/or ETA fields. Enter the dates using the DD-MON-YYYY format (For example: 01-JAN-08) or click the Calendar icon to open the pop-up calendar.

Origin ETD Between and Origin ETD And are mandatory.

Clear

Clears the search criteria entered.

Submit

Searches based on the search criteria entered.

Fleet/Services/Ports/CutOff Information section...

To turn Fleet/Services/Ports/CutOff Information section on or off, click .

Fleet

Displays a list of active mother vessels and their countries. You can double click on an item in the list to view the Vessel History window.

The following table describes the fields in the P2P Vessel Info window :

 

Field

Description

Code

MOL vessel code (5 digits long) corresponding to Star-Net vessel code.

Name

Vessel name corresponding to the vessel code.

Flag

Nationality flag flown by vessel (country code - ISO) and country name.

Lloyds Code

Lloyds registry code for insurance. Lloyds code is unique across vessels and cannot be blank. It has to be a 7 digit number.

Carrier Code

Vessel Operator's internal code.

Captain Name

Name of vessel captain.

Max Teus

Maximum TEUs can be added to a vessel. TEU is abbreviation for Twenty foot Equivalent Unit. This is a standard unit for describing a ship's cargo carrying capacity, or a shipping terminal's cargo handling capacity.

Class

Vessel class corresponding to vessel code.

Call Sign

Call sequence.

Gross Ton

This is the measurement of the under deck spaces in a vessel in which deducted spaces are taken into consideration.

Net Ton

This is also the measurement of the under deck spaces in a vessel in which deducted spaces are taken into consideration. It is measured in metric ton.

Dead Weight Ton

Dead weight of a vessel is the weight or mass of the cargo, fresh water, fuel and stores that a vessel can carry at relevant draft marks (Draft is the distance from the keel of a vessel to the waterline and draft marks are provided to measure the draft). Dead weight is sometimes referred to as either total, i.e. everything a vessel can carry or the cargo only. The dead weight of various drafts can be determined by referring to the deadweight scale, which has facilities of making adjustments due to different seawater densities. It is measured in metric ton.

Build Date

Date vessel was built. The date format is MON-YYYY. For example, MAR-2009.

Effective Date

Date vessel came into MOL service.

Expiration Date

Date vessel will no longer be in MOL service.

Voyage

Select a voyage from the drop-down list.

Line

Select a line from the drop-down list.

Port

Location Abbreviation of the port. The tool tip (when you move the cursor over it) shows Location Code followed by the Name. The name appears as a link, clicking which displays the Line Location CutOff Details window.

The Location wise cutoff details form displays the Cutoff Information of the vessel’s load port. Cutoff information is the information of the number of days or hours prior to the vessel arrival till when loaded containers can be accepted at the Place of Receipt. These cut off dates are imposed due to operational reasons.

 

For each Line, cutoff time could vary based on Load Ports. Cut off time may also vary based on the business practises involving different services and container type combinations like CY Dry, CFS Dry, CY Reefer, CY Hazardous and so forth.

Estimated time of departure. This field displays day of the week along with the actual date.

ATA

Actual time of arrival. This field displays day of the week along with the actual date.

ATD

Actual time of departure. This field displays day of the week along with the actual date.

Load

Indicates the origin area i.e. area from where cargo originates.

Dsch

Discharge port.

Close

Click to close the window.

Services

Displays a list of Schedules. You can double click on an item in the list to view the Service/Line Information window.

Country/Ports

Select a country name from the drop-down list and the box below the Country drop-down list displays all valid ports of the selected country.

CutOff Location

Enter a location name and double click on the cut off location to view its cutoff details.

Even if you enter the full name manually, you need to click Find located next to the text box.

 

This feature is available to both logged on and guest user. You can query schedule for one pair of origin and destination at a time.

  1. Enter relevant information in the fields under the New Search section.

  2. Enter location names for Origin and destination. Enter at least first 2 characters in the field and click Find next to it. List of all names starting with the entered characters are displayed in the box below this field. Select the required locations.

Even if you enter the full name manually, you need to click Find located next to the text box.

  1. In the Date Filters section, enter dates in ETD and/or ETA fields.

Origin ETD Between and Origin ETD And are mandatory.

  1. After entering search criteria, click Submit. The searched results appear in the P2P Schedule Query Results window.

  2. If you are a logged on user, the searched item will be automatically saved in the Previous Searches section. The last five recently performed searches by the logged on user will be saved.

This feature is available only to the logged on guest user.

  1. In the Previous Searches section, select the radio button next to the required row.

  2. The origin and destination fields automatically populates in the New Search section.

  3. In the Date Filters section, enter dates in ETD and/or ETA fields.

  1. After entering search criteria, click Submit. The searched results appear in the P2P Schedule Query Results window.
