Essential Terms


Essential Terms (ET) are certain portion of the service contract that are published publicly as per the regulations laid by Federal Maritime Commission (FMC). The terms, sometimes, need to be made available to public even after two years of the expiry of the service contract. The Essential Terms window of MOLPower allows you to search the active contracts based on certain filtering criteria, and can view the Essential Terms of the searched contracts. The window comprises of the following two sections:

The Essential Terms window consists of following items:

 

Item

Description

Essential Terms section... This section consists of two group boxes - Search Criteria and Contract List. The Search Criteria group box is used to search the existing contracts based on certain filtering criteria. Accordingly the searched results are retrieved and displayed under the Contract List group box.

Search Criteria group box...

i_note.gifTo search the existing contracts, at least one search criteria is Required, otherwise, a message is displayed "Please enter sufficient search parameters".

Contract No

Enter appropriate number of an existing contract to search a particular contract. Conditional

Access Date

Click i_Calendar_web_new.gif and select a date from the calendar to search contract(s) by the selected access date. Conditional

Origin Country

Select a country from the drop-down to search contract(s) for which the selected country has been specified as origin country. Conditional

Destination Country

Select a country from the drop-down to search contract(s) for which the selected country has been specified as destination country. Conditional

Commodities

Enter appropriate names of the commodities to search contract(s) associated to the entered commodities. Conditional

SEARCH

Click this button to search the contract(s) based on the given criteria.

Contract List group box...

i_note.gifAll information displayed under this group box are Auto-populated and Read-only.

i_note.gifIf the number of searched records is too large, MOLPower distributes the records in multiple pages, and by default, each page displays 15 records which you can change as per your requirement. You can select appropriate number within the range of 5 to 50, from the Page Size drop-down list. Accordingly, the number of records displayed under the Contract List group box is reduced/increased.

Contract No

Contract number.

Effective Date

Date from which the corresponding contract remains valid.

Expiry Date

Date till which the corresponding contract remains valid.

Date of Last Revision

Last revision date of the corresponding contract.

MQC

Minimum Quantity Commitment (MQC) as mentioned in the corresponding contract.

ET Detail section... This section displays the Essential Terms of the record currently selected under the Contact List group box.

Contract

Contract number of the record currently selected under the Contact List group box.

MQC

Minimum Quantity Commitment (MQC) of the record currently selected under the Contact List group box.

Effective Date

Date from which the contract remains valid, associated to the record currently selected under the Contact List group box.

Expiry Date

Date till which the contract remains valid, associated to the record currently selected under the Contact List group box.

Date of Last Revision

Last revision date of the record currently selected under the Contact List group box.

Origin Countries

Origin country(s) associated to the record currently selected under the Contact List group box.

Destination Countries

Destination country(s) associated to the record currently selected under the Contact List group box.

Commodities

Commodity(s) associated to the record currently selected under the Contact List group box.

i_note.gifBy default, the text box displays only 5 rows, accordingly information of commodities are displayed within that default text area. However, if complete information is not displayed within the default text area, you need to increase the row number of the text box by selecting a higher value from the Rows drop-down list.
